and after several heated public hearings had property rezoned
from R-1 to R-6 and R-Y 150 acres. Became the largest subdivision
in Southwest Jefferson County in 30 years. Later, sold Phase
to Crossman Communities from Indianapolis making that national
home builder's first acquisition in Louisville, KY and also
placing them as the largest homebuilder in the Louisville market.
Sold remaining property to Jefferson County Riverport.
TRIVIA: At age 15 Charles bailed hay for Mr.
Miller (Original Owner) and told him he was going to some
day get his Real Estate License and sell that property. Mr.
Miller said he would list with no one else and kept his word.
